Our executive coaching programmes provide a unique space in which each client can pause, step back from their day-to-day work and examine the challenges they are facing, the decisions they are making or the situations they find themselves in with the support and challenge of a coach. By offering perceptive feedback, powerful insights and alternative perspectives, our coaches work together with the client to create new learning and deliver transformational personal change.
HOW WE HELP
Executive coaching is one of the most effective and personalised professional development interventions for senior professionals. We use it as a catalyst for enhanced performance of both the individual and the teams they lead.
By its nature, executive coaching is highly personalised, but can focus on almost any work-related topic, such as:
• Career progression and unlocking potential
• Transitions between roles or organisations
• Developing leadership capability
• Enhancing self confidence
• Improving work relationships and emotional intelligence
• Optimising performance
• Managing stress and minimising burnout
Executive coaching is also incredibly valuable in enabling leaders to avoid derailment, especially during times of change or high stress, such as the first 90-days in a new role.
WHO IS EXECUTIVE COACHING FOR?
Typically Sarah and our associate coaches work with Executives and Senior Leaders, but we have also worked with high potentials and future leaders too. Coaching is offered as a programme of sessions (the number being determined by the particular goals of the coaching) – either for a specific individual or to support a broader internal talent development programme.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each programme is tailored to the specific needs of the organisation and the client resulting in a personalised programme of one-to-one coaching as follows:
Introductory and goal-setting meetings
Initially we arrange a chemistry meeting so that the coach and the client can meet each other. The quality of the work we do together is based on our relationship and connection, so creating time to check in on this before any work gets underway is crucial. Following this, we meet again to discuss the coaching objectives and to allow the coach to understand the current context for the client. It is a two-way process; both the coach and the client need to feel that they can form a strong working relationship. Before the coaching gets underway, we encourage a three-way meeting with the individual’s line manager so that all three stakeholders are aligned around the programme’s goals. We will review progress throughout and evaluate the effectiveness of the coaching at the end of the programme.
The number of sessions included in the programme will be determined by the client’s needs. However, a typical programme will comprise 6-8 sessions lasting between 90-120 minutes taking place every 6-8 weeks.

POWER HOUR COACHING
We support organisations to unlock the potential of their talent through power hour coaching sessions. These are one-off or ‘drop in’ 90-minute coaching sessions offered to individuals to focus on their career development (or any other topic).
Sarah worked with a Director in a Financial Services organisation who wanted help developing his relationships with his team and building his confidence as a leader.
A driven and ambitious newly promoted Director came to coaching struggling with stress and time management. With the support of our coach, she was able to see how different working styles
A new manager wanted to take action following feedback he had received at work. He was keen to improve his reputation, specifically to ensure that other people
"I think Sarah strikes the perfect balance between a professional and personal approach. She creates a very comfortable tone and atmosphere but also knows how to read you as an individual to challenge you at the right time and in the right way.
"I contacted Sarah as I wanted help working out what to do next in my career. She has a very concrete and constructive approach to coaching, meaning that we had open, rational discussions - which I liked. I feel that I now have a better understanding of what type of work will potentially suit my personality best, and some real options for my next career move."
"Sarah has helped me think through a big career transition, which I have been having trouble deciding on. She helped me identify my core values, which subconsciously influence my decisions and long-term satisfaction. After identifying these values, I was able to make some bold decisions with a lot of self-assuredness that were otherwise difficult to act upon. Sarah also helped me think through people management in a manner where I discovered the solution myself rather than being preached at. It has been a pleasure working with her and I continue to recommend her highly."
"I approached Sarah for coaching after experiencing a difficult period personally and professionally. I was feeling unsure of myself, what I wanted and where I was going. Sarah was incredibly empathetic and made me feel listened to and understood. Working with her helped give me the confidence and the strategies to take back control of my life. I went from being passive and unsure to proactively forging opportunities for myself and tackling head on some of the difficult decisions I faced.
As a result, I left a job in which I was very unhappy and am now setting up my own business - something I have aspired to do for a long time. Sarah is an astounding coach and an inspiring woman. I can't recommend her highly enough!"
